Many of you who have attended our recent programs of HE Garchen Rinpoches teachings are familiar that it was held in the precious Tibetan gompa of Sakya Monastery, in Seattle, Washington, led by His Holiness Jigdal Dagchen Sakya. It has come to our attention that Dagchen Rinpoche was recently hospitalized and, though hes been released, Sakya Monastery has requested the sangha to conduct 100,000 Medicine Buddha recitations on his behalf and daily recitations of 100 mantras a day, if possible. Sakya monks in India are doing Medicine Buddha practice and praying for him as well. Drikung Seattle is deeply grateful for HH Dagchen Rinpoches generosity and we request all to join us in the Medicine Buddha mantra recitation. The Medicine Buddha mantra: TAYATA OM BEKENDZE BEKENDZE MAHA BEKENDZE RADZA SAMUDGATE SO HA Please pray for Dagchen Rinpoches swift recovery and long life for the benefit of all sentient beings everywhere. In addition, Drikung Seattle sangha are invited to participate in Shitro practice which are held at Sakya Monastery every Sunday morning at 7:00 am.
