Many of you will remember this: Johnson Street in November 1980 during the filming of what was then being called The Last Desperado. The film starred character actor Bruce Dern as real life outlaw Harry Tracy and co-starred Helen Shaver, Gordon Lightfoot and Market Squares own Milne Building in its poignant debut performance as the First Portland Bank. The movie was released in late 1982 as Harry Tracy, Desperado (U.K. title: Harry Tracy, Dead or Alive), then later renamed Harry Tracy, the Last of the Wild Bunch (not to be confused with Harry Tracy and the Prisoner of Azkaban).
