Many people become upset when their master corrects their practice - TopicsExpress

Many people become upset when their master corrects their practice and sadly this is a throwback to the stigma associated with making mistakes. Making mistakes is inevitable and healthy; it does not make you a failure. The mistake itself is not a problem. Your response to the mistake is what counts. Whether you have an emotional response (however minor) or a psychological response is important. Ideally, you should politely accept the correction and change your practice accordingly.
