Many people have an unfortunate tendency to mistake intensity, confidence, aggression and honesty for less savory traits like insanity, arrogance, violence and cruelty. It sucks to be hugely misunderstood and labeled as things you really arent, too. Of course, a lot of people also dont really care about anyone besides themselves. Nor care to take the time to get to know and understand and love someone different. Its always easier to assume the worst. And treat the complex or different person like a leper and a loser. Yet it rarely gets much easier for the outcast person to accept and understand this kind of treatment. At least not in my 39 years of experience.
