Many people have asked me about The Oddsocks my backing singers in this video so, (and with their blessing) I felt I should just give you all a brief outline of their history and how we first met. That fateful meeting happened in an old laundry sometime back. Lost, unwanted, all washed up, and forlorn looking, I took pity on them. It cant have been easy for them given they had all lost their life long partners and now spent most of their time living at the back of an industrial dryer. Retiring with them to a local hostelry for a hot meal we got to drinking, and sharing stories in what turned out to be a long night on the town. Turns out these guys had mingled in some of music historys finest company and had provided backing vocals to some of our greatest singers. It was they who introduced me to the arrangement of White Christmas, the Irving Berlin classic I sing here, and they very kindly, (for a fee) provided backing vocals for me on this, braving the cold arctic conditions outside for their art.
