Many people have been asking me how I do my virtual tours for my listings. The first step was for me to accept that I was not good at taking pictures of property so I hired a photographer and videographer, A big thank you to Doug Sully for willing to work with me on this. Notice I say videographer and photographer - dont be fooled many people are trying to pass property slideshows off as virtual tours. My interpretation of a virtual tour is that it MUST be shot by video, it should give you a walk through of the home, a sense of the floor plan and a true understanding of the flow of the property. I then take that footage to my editor and from there we craft the tours, add music and voice (I wish I could make it sound better). Export to youtube and share. All too often agents are reusing their photos, applying a ken burns effect that allows it to pan across that photo and give the illusion of a video. Thats just not good enough for me. Thats why mine are shot by the pros in full high definition so buyers can see your property clearly and professionally. Dont be fooled, there is a difference!
