Many people have called for a political revolution in Malawi citing recent incidences of corruption e.g the infamous cash gate scandal. What has puzzled me is that we are calling for a revolution without giving a clue of how to start it. My opinion is that effective revolution starts when the oppressed realise that they hold the weapon to spark the revolution. On the same note effective revulution do not target individuals but regimes: both present and past ones! Egypt is agood case in point; their revolution targetted the Mubarak regime, thereafter Morsi regime and now the interim government. Unless the mind of the oppressed realises that the oppressor uses it, political revolution shall remain the chorus for street political analysts!
