Many people lament the loss of civility and civilized behaviour in public life over the last year, since Mr. Modi has been on the ascendant. I beg to differ. The fear of losing everything worthwhile that our culture has wrought over fifty centuries, has actually brought the hitherto silent, peace loving citizen out of her shell. For the very first time in history, the rational, intellectually emancipated and culturally integrated Indian is rising in protest; and therefore inviting the derision and vituperation of the savage right. Instead of a lament, I send out tidings of cheer! :)
