Many people told me that I would know when its time to retire. I thought Id keep going. Nope Im retarring in June!!! I still love the kids, but its not fun any more. Too much testing, too much paperwork, too much time spent proving Im a good teacher. HellOOOOOOOOOOO. I was named an Outstanding Teacher a few years ago. I have the apple trophy to prove it. I have scores of letters from kids and parents. But Im DONE! BTW, I think the principal was doing a jig when I left his office...!
