Many people were waiting for this concert for a long time: an Extraordinary New Years Gala of the world-famous singer Aleksandra Kurzak on Sunday (11.01) at the Opera House. This is the musical event of the season - she has one of the most beautiful soprano coloratura in the world. Many are those in Bialystok who would like to attend the concert, as proof, there is only a few tickets left for the Sunday performance - only single balconies. And yet the price is not the lowest. But that is it with such a remarkable singer being compared by world reviewers to brilliant Maria Callas - tickets for her performances in concert halls are often sold out, regardless the price. This concert is a treat for music lovers. Aleksandra Kurzak is performing on the most prestigious stages in the world - the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, or in Wiener Staatsoper - but was rarely heard in Poland. Her schedule is full for the next years.
