Many pet owners are looking ahead to travel for the Holidays. Make sure everyone is ready, including your pet. Check with your host and make sure they are comfortable with having your pet as a guest. If not, ask for suggestions of a pet facility or provider nearby. Hotels and inns that accept pets are popular during holidays so book early. Bring along a good supply of pet food and a familiar water and food bowl. Bring a copy of your pets vaccination records. If you plan to travel with your cat, take out the carrier a week in advance, line it with 1 or more of your cats favorite blankets and put in a catnip toy so your furry friend will get use to spending time in it.
