We need to remember that despite modern aids and assistance unimaginable to those brave crews 70-odd years ago, the same basic values persisted in a 70 year old aircraft today to make that journey........ Every B17 and B24 Liberator, plus other types, that were built in the USA, performed a similar journey..........70-odd years ago, and then went on to fight the airborne war over Europe........ But at this time we need to acknowledge the enormous bravery of the Canadian crew that flew that 70-odd year old aircraft on that recent epic journey.....modern aids aside, her rivets and structure are still 70-plus years old.............a momentous and brave undertaking.............. I have nothing to add other than enormous respect and acknowledgement, and wish to thank you for this mission........:o)
