Many questioning the patriotism of Vice President Ansari because they thought he was not seen saluting the Tricolor, is a very major, hyped example of LITTLE KNOWLEDGE IS VERY DANGEROUS situation.... And it only goes to prove how so many of us are ready to jump gun when we think a MUSLIM is here to be easily hanged !!!!! If the duo - the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense - do not know the protocol as first timers, the Vice President is not at fault. Oh, it seems the President was also mistaken, as per the rule book... This is his second term in office.... Sad !!!! Majority works in democracy. But if the majority make a mistake, it does not become the right thing to do.
