Many say: Ill obey all God speaks to me--if only Hed speak! Im convinced we are quickly becoming an indifferent people. Its a people who dont care whether He speaks or not. They can go about living their lives regardless of His guidance and wisdom while still claiming to follow Him. Oh the shame of it! We must come to a place of desperation like Rachel as she cries, Give me children or I die! That is a heartfelt prayer born from desperation and despair. She despised the barrenness of her womb and cried out with intensity. Those words came from a hopeless place--a place where only Holy intervention could change the situation. She had no other options. Thats a glorious place to be. This prayer wasnt stale like many of ours. It was full of life, filled with purpose, and had a definite finality to it. Do you have that kind of desperation to see blinded eyes opened, cold hearts unthawed, lifeless bodies given life again, rebellious children being born anew, and a revival to revive this dead world? Pray, brothers and sisters. Pray with this intensity. Clear your busy schedules of worthless activity and pray.
