Many stand in the valley of decision pondering questions of Gods - TopicsExpress

Many stand in the valley of decision pondering questions of Gods existence or His willingness and or His abilities. They are asking: Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe: Even those of the faith get to wondering what God is up to while going through great trials if their faith. While imprisoned, John the Baptist sent word inquiring of Jesus if He was the ONE, the Messiah, or should he look for another? John was having difficulty reconciling his state of imprisonment with the promises of God to establish His Kingdom. Jesus sent word back indeed confirming that He is indeed THE ONE, as evidenced by His works. God answered Johns quandary, because He wants His children to be at perfect peace in Him: to know that you know that you know He is God. I know in whom I have believed. We must come to Him like children; having simple faith that He is exactly who He says He is. Because of Jesus Christ, we can boldly approach the throne of grace. God doesnt mind that we have questions. He minds that we lack faith. For instance, when the angel came to Mary to tell her that she would be the vessel chosen by God to bring forth the Savior of the world, Mary believed, but she still had questions of how God would perform this miracle. The angel explained that it would be by the Holy Ghost, because Mary had not known a man. Mary had her questioned resolved, and she said, Be it unto me according to Thy word. She believed with simple faith. Trust in God. Many allow the mistakes and failings of other Believers to prevent them from entering. This is a trick of the enemy to keep people from seeking a God for themselves. Your concerned is about being bamboozled by religion. Good. However, it can never be an excuse not to come to God for ones self. My mother used to say to me there can be no counterfeit if there is no genuine article, so search for that which is authentic. Jesus is authentic. Dont be spiritually lackadaisical, but make a diligent search for Him. You will find THEE Truth (not a truth) when you have searched with all your heart. Then you be the genuine of the faith. Dont allow anything to prevent you from knowing Christ Jesus for yourself. Ask and it shall be given unto you. Seek, and ye shall find. Knock, and the door will be opened unto you. This is how sweet the grace of God is. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Many times people allow the fears of their heart to keep them from approaching Gods throne of mercy, but He tells us to believe in His good will: trust that His goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives as we believe He is God. Mark 5:36 ....Be not afraid, only believe. Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. When we are struggling to have faith, its alright to acknowledge this fact to God, but its not alright to stay there (we go from faith to faith and victory unto victory). We must ask The Lord to increase our faith; to help our unbelief. We may have enough faith to believe God can take us to one plateau but doubt Him in bringing us to another thing. God wants to prove Himself to us, but He requires uncompromising faith. Therefore, where we fall short, the Holy Spirit is available to help our infirmities. Only believe. Mark 9:24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. When we choose to believe God despite what anyone else says, or how we feel, then we will see the miraculous. We will receive all things that the Father has for us. For He will not withhold any GOOD thing from us who walk by faith, for there is no want to them that love The Lord. Luke 1:45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord. Hath God Said?: Satan enjoys sowing seeds of doubt. He will lie to you as He did to Eve in the garden. He will make it seem that in our modern times, there really is no need to believe in fables. He will provide false arguments to cause you to doubt Gods word; His plan of salvation. If you give to the serpent your ear, and fail to approach God Himself for the truth, then Gods words will be as idle tales to you. You will be robbed by the thief and the robber satan. Luke 24:11 And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not. When we receive the Truth, God will grant us power to walk with Him; to abide in Him. John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: And, this is how we escape condemnation: John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. So, come to the throne of grace boldly by the blood of Jesus. We have access to the Father in heaven through Him. Ask all your questions in prayer, and believe that He will answer you. Believe that He is God. Come while there is time. He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Only believe.
