Many teach that those who follow Christ, and NOT the law of Moses, are who Peter was speaking about in the scripture on this picture. However, the context clearly shows that Peter was speaking about those who didnt believe in Christ. In v 15, Peter mentions that God is giving the unsaved time to be saved and he also says that Paul was given wisdom and wrote letters, according to such. Now here is my question............ Was Peter talking about those who followed Christ, not understanding? Or was he talking about those that followed the law of Moses? Now let me quickly tell you why I believe its the latter..... It was the religious leaders, who had the scriptures!!!!! Not the Gentiles, so what could they distort? The unconverted were untaught on Christ! They didnt even recognize the Messiah when He was in their midst! So I ask, was Peter talking about believers or those who continued in the law of Moses? What Say Ye on the matter?
