And for commenting on your Pretty Pusher: My friend Christel Fannin-Cline sent this traveling black PP from Chicago to Boston amongst maternity clothes in a box. I was so happy to share the unmedicated birth vibes and packed it in my hospital bag. I labored practically to transition in a hospital gown and then decided to tell my midwife and nurse about the packed PP. They asked me if I wanted to put it on and I said no, because...well, I was tired and hot and, basically actively pushing! I remember my midwife saying it sounds pretty special and important, we will help you change into it, i think you should! And convincing me to let them put me in it. I am SO GLAD I did. My husband (unbeknownst to me) caught my son Frans (8 mos now) birth on video. I show this video to everyone and always say its so NOT graphic because of the Pretty Pusher. Its the only reason I CAN share it. And I think my husband wouldnt have even thought to film the birth, had I still been in the hospital gown!!! #birth #prettypushers #naturalhospitalbirth #ownyourlabor
