Many thanks to Honky2 for a great review 2nd lovely stay” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 days ago NEW save hilton points on my credit card and this hotel does not cost many points, wnt walking on hadrians wall and visited Hexham before we went. Explained at reception when we arrived that my husband had been offered a discounted meal as he is a coeliac and the resterount had made a few boo boos last time. Asked for vouchers for breakfast as usually when we stay at other hiltons if you pay for vouchers get breakfast a bit cheaper than paying in the morning. pleasanly surprised when we got the bill breakfast was complimentory. asked why and they said sometimes they have deals on. cookie lovely on arrival just for me of course. room 328 on the hilton honors floor clean and the bed really comfy. just a shower now but a nice one, think the bathroom could do with a fan as meldew will soon become a problem. towel rail cold so towels a bit damp in the morning (did fill form in before we left) Meal nice and staff very pleasant. my husbandsa gluteen free menu pleased him. overall we like staying here handy for getting into newcastle and a base for local events.
