Many thanks to everyone who managed to get to Threlkeld this evening for our ceilidh. Without you, it would have been a flop, but because of you, it was a great success. Loads of very competent dancing there, and so much amazing food! And so nice to put real faces to names at last. Lovely to meet Debbies cute puppy, and loads of thanks to her for the beautiful flowers! What did I do to deserve those? :-) (Ill take a photo of them in daylight.) To those who missed it - there will be more musical evenings, of one sort or another. Note that this one was just called our first big party. :-) Let me get my breath back and then Ill get the next one organised, and those who wanted to come tonight, but couldnt for one reason or another, will get priority on a vote for the date. And now, because of our mountain, a new ceilidh band - The Blencathra Band - has come into existence. We are available for events all around the area so please spread the word. Thank you!
