Many thanks to my family and friends for all the wonderful birthday wishes and surprises. I am so fortunate that my 56 years on this earth have been blessed with such good fortune. I read this quote today that will be my new mantra for the coming year: "Let the grateful heart sweep through the day that it may recognize in every hour some sweet blessing." Henry Ward Beecher I have rarely posted on facebook but my plan is to post my daily blessing (I know - corny, but hey, I am a kindergarten teacher!) for the coming year. So today, I am grateful for the blessing of YOU - anyone who is among my family, friends and acquaintances that have made my life the rich tapestry that it is!!
