Many thanks to the Candidates who have responded to the question of what their position is on building a new Aquatic Centre. In my view, a pool is vital in attracting families of all ages to our Community, and also to increase our Liveability. The health benefits are realized by people of all ages and physical ability levels. There are several architectural models for a new Aquatic Centre for us to choose from. Their costs vary. We need to choose the one that will best serve our entire Communitys needs. I think that its premature to present Cost to Taxpayer calculations at this time. We first need to know which Aquatic Centre model has been chosen, and what grants and funding options are available to us. Thanks...
