Many thanks to the Catholic Finance Association for inviting me to speak on CEO compensation (a topic I dont normally speak on!) right around the corner from my old office at GE. It was wonderful meeting so many thoughtful Catholic executives tonight, and a good intellectual challenge to try to mix what I (barely) remembered from Wharton with Catholic Social Teaching. As you can see, it was clearly a Catholic crowd because even though people were standing in the back, the front seats were empty.
