Many thoughts and prayers through the night on the words my attorney said to me yesterday and lots of weighing on these important decisions. I focused on thinking about the Big picture. I struggle so much not having my daughter 50/50 I always have because Ive never done anything wrong but it makes you feel like its an ongoing punishment. I always dreamed that at the age of 12 she would decide on her own but its not so easy. This morning was all about trust. Trust in my attorney, trust in God. I settled outside of court this morning based on my faith again in the big picture. Im walking away with no more grief that I can only have 2 weeks in the summer when from 2001 I was always supposed to have 4 weeks. Going forward I will have 4 weeks in the summer, I walk away with no contempt against me, I walk away with a permanent new visitation schedule thats now in an order. All good things that cost us $1250. No I cant get the $1250 back as I had wished but God is bigger and he will provide for all our needs. I appreciate your prayers for me this morning and for those who texted positive thoughts. Now to focus on how I will have an official teenager in the house tomorrow!! lol.
