Many times God will allow trials and tribulations in our life to draw us closer to Him, in preparation of the battle ahead. Just as He was with Daniel in the lions den, He is with you in every trial, He is the source of our strength. He was preparing David while he was running for his life hiding in caves. Our trials will lead us to an abundant life of effective praying and everlasting ministry if you allow Him to carve in your character a true reflection of Him while youre in the fire where your faith is being tested. In the fire you are being refined as a precious gem. The pain that we endure while walking a trial is only temporary but the refinement is for all eternity. A test is something that purifies and strengthens the faith that is already present. If you come to Jesus His yoke is easy and His burdens are light. The purification that God uses is to shape us for His service. He burns away useless impurities and seeks to melt us in order to mold us more into image. Before silver can be used as a useful vessel or utensil it has to be purified and refined. God seeks to purify our every motive and our priorities so that we can live consistent, disciplined lives for Jesus. He wants to burn away the self conceit, the self confidence, and the self esteem in order to use us a vessel ready for His use. God purifies our faith in order to draw us closer to Him leading us to sincere prayer and faith. Every storm is like a school, every trial like a teacher, every painful experience an education in the grace of God. Trials will harden an unbeliever but the same trial will humble the true believer to fall at the feet of Jesus As we are in the fire, remember the story of Shadrack, Meshach and Abednego as they were in the fire a 4th figure stood with them and they were not harmed by the fiery furnace so is it with us as we walk through the fire we are not alone, and in the end we will not be harmed but strengthened. God will not allow any refining to take place that will not ultimately result in His glory. Psalm 26:2 Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart. James 1:3 knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience Proverbs 17:3 The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold, but the Lord trieth the hearts. 1 Thessalonians 2:4 But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak: not as pleasing men, but God. which trieth our hearts. Be Blessed My Friends!
