Many times in our lives we tend to compare our selves with others. Sometimes we feel like "if only only I was like Him or her, and if I could only be able to things like him or her". But that sort of thinking only gord to make us feel inferior and as we have been left out of the equation, it tends to make us feel as if God has sidestepped us is some way. The truth is far from the way that our thoughts linger. Our loving God in all His wisdom has given each one of a different ability and a different talent and blessings so that we can all co-exist with one another. Can you imagine if we were all bakers, or if we were all carpenters. Who would build our houses or make our clothings and sos on. So you see each one of us has a specific role to play that only we can fulfill, and our loving God the Heavenly Father has made that so that each one of us will be part of a whole community that is dependent on one another, we are part of one body...Body of Christ... Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. (1 Corinthians 12:4-6) Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.
