Many times we get carried away and consumed in the negativity that Uganda offers in plentiful supply and forget to celebrate some of the little things that make the world go round. On 26 January 2014 I was involved in a nasty motor accident from a drop off at Entebbe. Bleeding and a written off junk helicopter, oops - Toyota I was robbed clean by rescuers (wedding band n other bling bling). In all this a boda boda Guy comes along my heavy self on his means of conveyance to Namulanda hospital where a quick decision for surgery is made to save my cut tongue- so expertly done that I later learnt the doctor was hardly three years in practice I was later transferred to Nakasero Hospital for two weeks. Nakasero ranks well with medical services Ive seen in Nairobi. I was impressed by aside of Uganda people rarely share. Though I am yet to make complete recovery I thank God I am alive to see 2014 behind me. Bon anee!
