Many who know me have heard me say as such and many others may have assumed based on my general outrage at religious events and outcomes. I have finally finished reading Richard Dawkins book The God Delusion and upon reflection with his notes on the evident negativity towards atheism in modern society and how ridiculous it is compared to reverence given to belief I realized that I too am hesitant to let some know of my Theological leanings because of a feared bias from those I know who are believers. That being said I realize now the importance of making ones decisions in life known so that others too can shake the bonds of societal prejudice...and so I would like to say openly and emphatically that I am an Atheist and am very proud of that fact!
