Many women cope with pelvic floor health issues after having - TopicsExpress

Many women cope with pelvic floor health issues after having children, undergoing treatment for cancer, or simply as they age. Don’t be embarrassed or accept these issues as “just part of aging” – there are many treatment options to improve and treat pelvic floor disorders. Ignoring issues can lead you to not doing the things you love, like attending a concert, playing golf or taking a hike. Maintaining an intimate relationship with your spouse can become a challenge if you experience pain or worry about incontinence. Dr. Reed is an affiliated member of the Medical Staff at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands, and is a board-certified OB/Gyn and is also board certified in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. This in person event will be held in the first floor conference center at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands (9250 Pinecroft). There will be a Q&A after the presentation. Also, this is a free event with light refreshments. Please note, there is parking available off Pinecroft and off Medical Plaza Drive. We have a new parking garage at the corner of Medical Plaza Drive and the I-45 southbound feeder road, and we have free valet parking off Medical Plaza Drive at our covered, Star Lobby entrance (there is an info desk there that can direct you to the conference center). RSVP for the In Person Talk Next Week: To attend the Nov. 11 in person talk at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands – call 713.222.CARE(2273) to register for this talk in The Woodlands.
