Many writers hate #editing. Im one of the strange ones that love it. The first draft always stresses me out, because I feel like Im racing against myself, to figure out if I can pull off the storyline. Once I realize that I can, in fact, pull it off, I can relax, and then work back through it to make it shine. Thats what Im doing today. And for the foreseeable days to come: #editing. Im writing the most... complex, dark, twisty, beautiful, fragile storyline Ive ever attempted. I cant wait until its perfect, until I can share it with you. But for now, Im peeling it apart, a layer at a time, to make it perfect for you. And while Im doing that, Ive got this song on repeat. Its my Happy for today. I love my job. I love my work.
