Many years ago, I immigrated to the United States legally! I joined the Army and served honorably for 22 years. Nothing was handed to me, I had to do everything in English or I missed out. I had 18 month of Airborne Ranger in the German Army and yet had to start off as an E-1 whereas some fat kid sat in College for 2 years came in as an E-3 and someone who sat in College for 4 years as an E-4. Not complaining though but in retrospect, maybe I should have come here illegally? I could have saved myself a lot of heartburn. I could have had everything in my native language, get a lot of benefits without paying taxes to include tax credits for children I may or may not have in my country of origin. I could have saved myself the trouble and all the money for the legal process. I stood there for all our freedom and went to several wars just to see now how those corrupt politicians give our country away!
