Many years ago, I was very fortunate to meet my mentor, Paavo Ketonen, aka Bengt Engbloom, here in Arizona. Many BOXING ARIZONA fans remember Paavo and those who dont, Paavo was a definite character and staple in the boxing community here in Arizona. I dedicate this group, BOXING ARIZONA to Paavo Ketonen.. God rest his soul. Paavo had stories for miles, showed me photos of Ali that and other greats whom only a handful of people have seen. Paavo took steam room breaks with Humphrey Bogart and rubbed elbows with ol Blue Eyes, Frank Sinatra... I was blessed to have made a close friendship with a wise and genuine human being.
