Many years ago, after I read about Jack Ma I became inspired to launch an Internet-based business. Though it tarries it will not be late. But who is Jack Ma? Jack is the founder and chairman of Alibaba Group, the largest online shopping platform in the world. In 2012, two of Alibaba’s portals together handled $170 billion in sales, more than competitors eBay and Amazon combined. What makes Jack Ma unique? Jack failed the entrance exam into University twice, he eventually attended Hangzhou Teachers Institute and graduated in 1988 with a bachelors degree in English. He later became a lecturer in English and International Trade at the Hangzhou Dianzi University. Ma went into Internet business by building websites for Chinese companies with the help of friends in the US. Many tech CEOs, from Steve Jobs to Bill Gates to Mark Zuckerberg, are lifelong computer geeks but Ma is different he was an English teacher and he has never written a single line of code for Alibaba because he doesnt know how to. But he has one thing....Ideas!!! Today, his net worth is $12.1 billion. MORAL LESSON An idea is a powerful thing; it controls money, it controls people. Never be intimidated by the so-called experts. Hold on to your ideas make it a reality.
