Many years ago,my sister proclaimed that we were a demented people.It sounded rather harsh at the time,especially when i compare what prompted her comments then and the madness we see today.But,i concur.There is something fundamentally wrong with us!!! We are living in very perilous times.The entire fabric of our nation,has broken.It is torn assunder! Unfortunately,priorities are not a priority! While a group of deadly,practically faceless terrorists beat us to the ground,we shackle ourselves with the business of Nigerian style politics. Lets understand where we are.Boko Haram,is slowly annexing swathes of Nigerian territory and practically daring us to stop them. Apart from a brief period of about 7 weeks,these guys have had us on the back foot.Boko Haram is always the aggressor,while the Nigerian Forces,continously,appear to be playing catch up Okay,lets agree that the opposition or other fifth columnists are responsible for the almost effortlessness with which BH,operate.Is this constant harrasment,murder and arson,not enough to make the central government change tactics?If they feel they have intelligence,which suggests that we are being routed because of a collaboration between anti Jonathan forces and the terrorists and they(government) repeatedly allow these nebulous forces,get the better of the concerted MIGHT of the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA....on a regular basis,then we are in serious trouble! Can we not see that we are heading nowhere,rather fast!?? While the ruling party vacillates and suffers contusions and convolutions internally,we are being decimated as an entity! Please President Jonathan,you are in the drivers seat!It is your respinsibility to see that things are in good order.Ten years from now,posterity would have forgotten the names of your service chiefs and security people! Your name will not be forgotten,because you had the mandate.You were the poster boy of the ruling party.You were the one who staked your name to the promises and commitments of a greater today and tommorow.Look around you Sir.Is this decided decline what you truly desire? Look at your great party,it is rife with conflict.In Ondo,Bayelsa,Ekiti,your party is bursting at the seams.......not with good fortune,but internal strife.You can no longer continue to blame the opposition.Why?They are the opposition!They will not be held accountable! You will! Sir,do you aporeciate the enormity of the problem?Has the time not come to do an in house check?A spring cleaning if you will? Are you not aware that as you grapple for the opportunity to lead us again in 2015,the enemy,is slowly but surely,eroding your area,your geographical sphere of influence?What is your key responsibility?Is it not to keep us safe and stable? Please do not utter those words.......it is people who dont want me to succed! If that be the case,and they are wreaking havoc.Please,bring the full weight of the law,the might at your disposal to bear! You will be applauded! All this pussy footing is undermining your credibility! Are you not the FATHER of the nation?Do you not recognise what it entails?What the responsibilities,which come with authority? Please redefine yourself and your outlook!NERO,seems to be a novice when we consider your inaction in the face of a CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER,to the coporate existence of this nation! We are at war SIR! This is the time for a warlike President! POSTERITY,IS NOT A PRAISE SINGER! ITS.....POSTERITY!
