Many years ago there were street races in the US, the most famous being in Colorado Springs. The Washington MRRA club also had a street race but for the moment Im having a coronary because I cant remember the coastal town we raced in and Google cant help. No doubt there will be someone that remembers so please post up. In any event I really miss that type of racing as that is the type of riding we did in the English countryside many decades ago. While the Isle of Man is famous for the TT, New Zealand has a few street races that still run annually. Im similarly yearning to compete in Paeroa but the NZ schedule always has another race weekend on at the same time.
