Many years ago when I was much Younger and getting into the industry I didnt quite understand why I was called into radio. In fact if I hadnt been nagged by Zane or Tracy Going, I wouldve stayed in Corporate and Id be safely tucked away behind my Powerful desk. But, I was quickly told and shown that this Calling was not just for entertaining, that there was a deeper meaning to it All! For many years I never understood, I was more fascinated with the Amazing Colleagues I was working with and meeting Amazing Superstars! (I was Star Verskrik) :-) Years later, the words shared with me were forced into existence. As much as I try to promote fun and good music I cannot turn a blind eye to all the suffering that is in the world! So I shall begin to share online some of the challenges and truths that I encounter everyday, because there is a great need for healing! This is my ministry in radio, to be some kind of voice of truth. Am I experienced or qualified to do this? Truth to be told, probably not, but I cannot leave a broken heart unattended. Dare I turn away from what I have been called into, what I have been prepared for and dare I allow those who do not understand this calling to dictate to me, how, when and why? If I dont do it then Ill be robbing Myself and those 10 People who needed to hear their truth from me during my time on radio.
