Many years ago when The Beastie Boys were considered to be a threat to society, until they came to Liverpool, I was in a band with David R Cooke and Gordon Logan. We were called Go For Soda. Dave on lead vocals and guitar, Gordon on drums, and me on bass. This is a cleaned up, by Jeff Lewis, of one of three songs that we recorded on a portastudio in our rehearsal space. I played my Ibanez Destroyer II bass through a Vox 3 watt, battery powered amplifier, feeding a Marshall 4x12. Mr Cooke played his Ibanez Purple Haze guitar through the mains powered version of the same amp. And, Gordon hit the drums. I still have both the bass and the amp! :-)
