Marathon post: Ive been pondering the idea of positive thinking influencing depression/anxiety and would like to put it out there that is IS possible, though difficult... know that if I ever tell you that shifting your perspective and thoughts can bring you out of despair, I speak from a place of true knowledge and experience... nothings wrong with therapy and meds when it comes to this awful disease, but a shift in your conscious thinking is KEY for long term results. So either when youre in a good place (with or without meds and therapy) pour yourself into healing your thought processes. Im working hard EVERY.FRICKIN.DAY. to gain knowledge about how my triggers and spirals happen, what I can do about it, and actively developing new and better plans... BECAUSE LIFE ISNT MEANT TO BE LIVED IN A FORM OF DESPAIR THAT WAS CREATED BY THE EGO AND IMAGININGS OF THE MIND. If you dont believe me, join me for one day of ignoring all negative self talk, take a pass on all energy and happiness zapping drama, dont let imagined or seemingly real fear have a seat in your mind today. Instead, think about your happy desires, put goodness back into the world around you. And you can read these posts (feel free to include links to uplifting posts that have helped you have happiness instead of despair)...
