Marathon training wk 1! Well Ive definitely got off the start line...thank you everyone for words of motivation, support and advise so far. Keep it coming. The key here for me is absolutely Time, sleep and food! For all of you out there taking up any new activity. These three things will support your goal.. Time: factor in your training each day and stick to it! Sleep: it is recommended we try to get 8hrs sleep per night for optimum recovery , repair, growth and function(Im working on this). Food:.. Are you fuelling your body correctly. With carbohydrates( vegetables and fruits are this also), protein(Im turning Into a chicken already), and fats.. Good quality omegas, found in nuts, seeds, fish, animal fat and coconut oil... . Forget the sugar.. Yes yes yes... It is the devil which ever form it comes it.. It will deplete your energy by playing havoc with your blood sugar levels. It will also drain you and increase fatigue. Xx
