Pingris also noted how Pennisi handled the trade, joining the Hotshots like a pro should, which was much different from his situation years before when he was shipped out of San Miguel. “Na-trade na rin ako before. Noon, parang kakabahan ako dahil bagong sistema. Pero siya pa ’yung kumakausap sa amin na parang matagal na siya sa team,” said Pingris. With the victory, the Hotshots secured the seventh seeding in the playoffs but needs two victories over Ginebra or Meralco to keep their bid for a fifth successive league championship alive. #sixteen
