Marc recently adopted Johnny Bananas from us and he wrote us to tell us how great Johnny is doing. It warms our hearts! First and foremost, our appreciation goes out to you all and everyone that does the work you do. Im certain it can be difficult at times, but know what you do has such an impact on creatures without a voice. Thank you. It was very touching that there were so many well wishers happy to see Johnny adopted. Johnny has melded in like no other rescue that we have ever had and weve had many. He, as many of you said, is a couch potato in the largest sense of the word. Hes the most unexcitable pooch but at the same time, he is so utterly happy. His wiggles and facial expressions are so entertaining and heartwarming. Yesterday Johnny had a nice oatmeal bath, enjoying the warm water and rub down - he didnt budge. He has his first doctors appointment on Friday with Doctor Moffa. We will have his ears cleaned and the rash under his neck where his collar rubs checked out, as well as a full exam. He will also be scheduled for a dental cleaning next month - he needs a bright smile for the holidays.
