Marcella picked up this tasty dish - pronounced bù - zara - in Friuli during one of my tours of the wine of that region, which shares a border and some of its producers vineyards with Slovenia. She cooked it often, using Adriatic scampi (Dublin Bay prawns) when we lived in Venice, and lobster after we moved to Florida. She put the recipe into her next-to-last cookbook, MARCELLA CUCINA, which she wrote in Venice.
