March 12, Ps. 55 Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; . . Sounds so simple doesnt it? Then why is it so hard? Two reasons I believe. One, we continually believe that we are able or that we should have to carry a burden we werent meant to carry, this is a self-imposed burden. Second, down deep, we really dont trust that God will carry this burden or deal with it in a way that suits us. This is a matter of self-exaltation, believing we know better than God how to handle a burden. So today, ask yourself of your particular burden, Why am I carrying this and do I really believe and trust that God can deal with this way better than I can?
