March 21, 2014 Spring is natures way of saying, Lets party! ~ Robin Williams If you have been outside today, I dont have to tell you; its the first day of Spring. I hope you were able to venture out to enjoy the warm temps and hear nature sing out with excitement. Before long, the blossoms will open, the birds will call for their mates and all of the creation will explode with color. This is my absolute favorite time of the year. There is something about Spring that invigorates a body to be active and try new things. God understands and created us to get in gear with the season and sprout new life. No matter your age, you are never too old to try something new. Read a new book, learn a new skill, sing karaoke; you figure it out. Start fresh, but dont abandon the habits of excellence; prayer, sharing, service, worship, caring for family and worship. Even if you dont have an extra hitch in your step, turn the soil of your heart over and plant something new. Reach out in love and find ways to share unexpected kindness with those who least expect it. In other words; pay forward. Todays quote puts in perspective; nature is crying out , its Spring, Lets party! May your party be more than food and drink. As the ground warms and our heart grows fonder, share an energy and zeal for life. Dont miss the excitement. Enjoy nature and spread the word; the Fathers love is ours to enjoy; pass it on!
