March 22, 2014 Many people around this country have convinced themselves that they are Christians and living a Godly life. This country, if it does not change it’s ways, if the people do not repent, is all but doomed. Our Nation, our Country, was founded on the principles of God as laid out in the Bible. God took this new babe of a Nation and built it up, making it stronger and stronger as time went on. Because of all the conflicts around the world and this Nation’s love of God, this Nation, America as we call it, became the most powerful nation in the world. Now, we, as a Nation, despise God and His teachings, we turn against Him at every turn, just look around, open your eyes. Idolatry is everywhere, we worship so many things but what we should, the Lord God Almighty. Israel was God’s chosen people, He took them from slavery to a powerful nation, He loved His people. Even with His love for Israel punished them a number of times. In the 25th chapter of numbers we find that God became angry with Israel and had Moses speak to the judges of Israel and the should every man that had joined with Baal-peor (Numbers 25: 4). God did this to the very people He loved, how much better are we than Israel? God is going to strike this country like never before, you can count on that for sure. But I don’t feel it is too late just yet, but it is coming to a time of dissession. We need to turn back toward God like never before, we need to worship Him and the idols we have built to replace Him. I am truly surprised that God has not come on us sooner, but then maybe He has, we are a lot weaker than we have been in a very long time. We all know what we need to do but you know you cannot speak for your neighbor, you can only speak for yourself. Get down on your knees and pray for yourself, change your life to be closer to the Lord. As you begin to pray and share with your friends they will begin to pray and share, then we will have a big revival like we have never seen. We can do a lot of things in our lives but in most cases, whatever we do has to start with the simplest self and God. God wants to help us in our lives, all He wishes is that we have a relationship with Him, simple isn’t it? With one single person, me, we can change this nation back to following the Lord. From the simple begins of a small stream, mighty rivers shall flow. Go now, do your part, start praying. If you don’t believe these things you need to go and study in your Bible, you’ll see that with as much love for us that He has, He will punish us, He will destroy us if we turn from Him as we have done all over this nation. He has let our enemies mass against us on all sides, it is but a matter of time now. I hope you and all you know are having a relationship with God, He is wonderful. If you do not know Him I would like to help, your life will change like you never thought possible. Get to know God, get to know God’s people and get to know His word, you will be blessed beyond messure. God Bless you all, have a wonderful weekend, hope to see you in church tomorrow.
