March 24, 2014 Otra Buena Semana ¡Hola a todos! Well, since I emailed last we have been able to finish updating the area map with the old investigators in the area book. We decided that since we knew more or less where most of them lived, we would try to find some of the potential ones. When we came to one of the houses, we asked for the person that was talking to missionaries before. The conversation went like this: Us: Hello, were the new missionaries here. A while ago you were talking with other missionaries, right? Investigator: Yeah, how did you find me? Us: Well, the other missionaries left us a note with your name and address and said that we should come by and visit you again. Investigator: (Gives us a weird look) Well, Im busy now, could you come by a different day? Im not sure if she was scared that we found her or just wondering how we did. I guess well see We also ran into a couple of guys that speak English on the streets. One of them is a member, but the rest of his family (his wife and 4 kids) arent. He seemed really excited to see us and took us out to his house to meet his family. Were going to visit them again this week. The other guy lives in a little area not too far from here and likes talking with missionaries, because a couple of years ago when he lived up in the US, some missionaries helped his family out with some stuff while he wasnt able to. Were also going to try to visit him and his family. Other than that, thats about the excitement of the week. Sé que esas experiencias no son coincidencias. Sé que el Señor tiene muchas cosas para nosotros si buscamos cada día. Sé que José Smith fue profeta de Dios, y que Thomas S. Monson es un profeta viviente hoy en día. Elder Millerberg
