March 28th = Proverbs 28. This is verse 19. Whoever works his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows worthless pursuits will have plenty of poverty. I love how the Proverbs contrast right behavior with wrong. God makes it clear the outcome of both. Worthless pursuits, in this verse, could also be translated as empty dreams. How many empty dreams have kept me from diligently applying myself to honest work? Father God, thank you for pouring out Your wisdom for us! Your ways are always the best. Help me to embrace and apply Your wisdom. For Your glory, in Jesus name, amen.
