March 31st 2006 (8 yrs ago today) It was a Friday night, after 2 times of saying NO(weeks before)... I finally said YES to a BLIND DATE! I met Mr. Timothy Salazar that evening, it was NOT love at first sight! He remembers me wearing an ugly green shirt (It wasnt ugly!) I seriously thought he liked dancing cuz we danced all night (apparently he did it cuz we were on a date) I didnt expect to fall in love with him within a few weeks after we met. I didnt expect that we would be living together within 3 months of meeting We got married 5 years later ( after 5 yrs... about damn time , dont you think...kinda expect marriage after 5 yrs) The night of our blind date he asked me out for the next night (April 1st ) for dinner (Abuelos) and a movie ..I said YES! Yesterday, I asked Tim if he wanted to meet at Abuelos for dinner on April 1st, he could wait at the bar for me like he did 8 yrs ago. (He said NO) lol, no role playing! My plan was to stand him up on the date ( April Fools joke) (lmao) Life would have been different had I not taken a chance and said NO to the blind date. Moral: life is never what you expect it to be, it will throw you curve balls... learn to take chances Mr. SALAZAR , Im so glad we took a chance on each other. Heres to 8 yrs (in your words feels like 18 yrs) and many more to come!
