March 9, 2014 Part 2 I told yall in my earlier post that today was full of Wowsome Wonders and there is just no way I can finish off my night without telling you about the rest of my day. This evening I had the opportunity to go to a concert to hear my friend and co worker, Dieumack Jean-Francois. I have posted a few numbers he has done and he is now a member of Touch Ministries Team - leading praise and worship during Chapel at my school. Any way, he was playing at a church tonight and I jumped at the chance. So, they are very particular around here about dress attire and normally I wouldnt even have considered pants as appropriate. However, there was a chance we were going to have to take a taxi (taxis are motocycles here in Saint Marc, and yes, you hop on the back) so I went with pants and some dress sandals. The concert was wonderful - the church was on the top of a very, very steep mountain - absolutely gorgeous view at the top.... once I got there and could actually breath again. You see, we had to walk, yes..... me, walking up a 299999 degree upcline (exaggeration intended) which was full of boulders and gravel and rocks and lion, and tigers and bears, oh my .... a climb up Mt Everest could not have been more difficult. Here is my comments - Come to the concert they said.... you will enjoy it they said .... just a small walk, about a block, they said ..... sandals is fine, they said ..... And you still cant see the church at the top - a ways beyond the horizon.... I vaguely remember hearing Jack repeatedly say, All for God.... All for God... God is gooooood Miss Peeeggyyyy..... (I wish you could hear his accent) Well the music was well worth it and yes, God is Good and I am still breathing:)
