Marcie Gustafson Raw honey is especially good for sore throats. (Get from health food shop). Take a spoonful as needed. Or make tea with grated ginger, honey, and lemon juice--you can add cinnamon, too. Havent figured out proportions yet, still up to your taste buds, but for approximately 1 litre of hot water I use a 6-7 cm chunk of ginger, peeled and grated, a good squeeze of lemon juice from a bottle, or fresh from 1/2 lemon, and a good squeeze of honey from the bottle. Then I start taste-testing and adjust to my preference. If adding cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon is a good starter, or try a cinnamon stick. Thats nice for stirring while you drink! There are no dosage limits...as much as you want, as often as you need, hot or cold. Keeps long in the refrigerator. Dont overheat as that will kill the vitamin C from the lemon juice.
