Marcos was beaten on his return from injury, losing to Adrian Mannarino 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 in the first round of the If Stockholm Open on Tuesday. Marcos made a strong start, saving the four break points he faced and converting two of his five opportunities to take the opening set. But Mannarino hit back, breaking Marcos three times to claim victory in just over two hours. Marcos’ next scheduled tournament will be the Swiss Indoors Basel, an ATP World Tour 500 indoor tournament starting on Monday.
